Josh Maddocks - Terms and Conditions for Wedding Bookings
**1. Booking and Deposit:**
a. To secure Josh Maddocks' services for your wedding, a non-refundable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking.
b. The deposit amount and payment details will be communicated to you upon booking confirmation.
**2. Final Payment:**
a. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before your wedding date.
b. Failure to make the final payment by the due date may result in the cancellation of the booking, and any deposits paid will be forfeited.
**3. Cancellation Policy:**
If the event is cancelled by either party, the following refund policy applies:
a. If the cancellation is initiated by the magician, a full refund of any deposit or payment made will be issued.
b. If the cancellation is initiated by the client, a 50% refund of any deposit or payment made will be issued.
c. However, if the cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event date, full charges will apply and no refund will be issued.
**4. Performance Requirements:**
a. You agree to provide suitable space and conditions for Josh Maddocks' performance, as agreed upon in advance.
b. Josh Maddocks reserves the right to cancel the performance if the venue conditions are deemed unsuitable or unsafe.
**5. Changes to Booking:**
a. Any changes to the booking details must be communicated to Josh Maddocks in writing within 14 days of the wedding date.
b. Changes are subject to approval by Josh Maddocks and may result in adjustments to the total booking fee.
**6. Force Majeure:**
a. Josh Maddocks shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
**7. Public Liability Insurance (PLI):**
a. Josh Maddocks maintains Public Liability Insurance up to the value of £10 million.
b. A copy of the PLI certificate can be provided upon request.
**8. Agreement to Terms:**
a. By proceeding with the booking and payment, you acknowledge and agree to all the terms and conditions outlined herein.
**9. Governing Law:**
a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
