Top 5 wedding venues in Norfolk
/So I moved to King’s Lynn in 2017 with my then-girlfriend Emily.
After our daughter was born I proposed and Emily set to work on planning our big day. We got married in the Town Hall and had our reception close by.
Now after nearly a year making connections within the industry in Norfolk I have found it’s home to some absolutely amazing wedding venues.
#1
The Ffolkes.
This 300-year-old coaching inn is located conveniently on the A148 in Hillington, and is well signposted! It’s a stone's throw from the Sandringham estate and Kings Lynn. There is plenty of parking available to the rear of The Ffolkes.
I have had the pleasure of performing here before and have weddings to look forward to in the future too. 10/10 for hospitality, the staff go above and beyond to make your special day…well… special!
#2
Applewood Hall.
This is an award-winning wedding venue that I just can’t wait to work with in the future. This stunning, versatile venue has everything you need to plan the boho, festival style wedding of your dreams. With two beautiful licensed ceremony rooms, the ivory drapes and cascading fairy lights of the main hall and our lush garden complete with festoon lighting, fire pit tables, and decorative gazebo, there’s plenty to get creative with.
#3
Park Farm Hotel & Leisure.
A world away from the hustle and bustle, this blissful retreat set in 200 acres of the idyllic countryside yet mere miles from the historic, beautifully vibrant city of Norwich, Park Farm Hotel and Leisure is the perfect spot for a luxurious long weekend, a truly memorable occasion, or simply somewhere splendid to relax and unwind for the day. Whatever the reason for your visit, they can make the moment special.
#4
Barn Drift.
Barn Drift Norfolk is an award-winning, 5-star luxurious and elegant conversion of a spacious 18th-century barn East of Cley Next the Sea. Perfect for large families or friends wanting to get together and perfect for any event. Set in the middle of private farmland the house has uninterrupted views of the sea, Glaven Valley and Cley Marshes. Barn Drift is a family run business, with a fantastic team all living locally. They pride themselves using local produce and ecological products and are licensed for small weddings and civil ceremonies too.
#5
Cley Windmill.
Cley windmill іs а five-storey tower mill wіth а stage аt second-floor level, twenty feet above the ground. It wаs built іn the early 19th century. Іt wаs nоt marked оn William Faden’s map оf Norfolk published іn 1797. This is a real gem and a truly unique place to get married, that’s right it’s a licenced wedding venue, I believe the licence allows for 25 people (Bride and Groom included) but what an experience!
